Dammit, Jim, Shut Up!
These two seem to be the most desirable synths out there. I liked both when I demoed them in the store, but you don't really get to know a board until you own one for a while.
I like many of the sounds from both. I really like the Tritons touch screen feature. Having been a Roland user for some time, I am sick to death of navigating multiple menus that are laid out in non-intuitive fashion.
I'd really like to hear the pros and cons on each from people that own one or the other--or both. Are they similar or very different in the long run? What i want is a combination of killer real keyboard sounds--piano, Ele piano, organ, etc--real usable instrument sounds--guitar, brass, bass, orchestral--great drum kits---and incredibly useful pads and textures. Phat, of course!
Is there a clear winner? Or are they both incredible?
