trigger to midi out

I am looking for a trigger unit with 12 min. trigger inputs, with no sounds onboard just midi out. I have an e-mu sampler I want to use samples for drums. I know there was a KAT unit sometime back but can't find it.

Anybody have or know where I can get one?
