Sorry no takers yet...I'll try again.

I've got an older RG Ibanez...just love to play this thing except for one thing. The neck has a clear finish on it. After playing a few sets and after my hands perspire, the neck gets a little sticky. I really prefer an unfinished or natural neck. Can I simply sand the thing down with some fine sand paper? Also, this guitar has a binding on it...I hate bindings...what about getting rid of this at the same time?

Yes You can sand it ligtly and it should take care of the problem.
