I'm pretty new to acoustical treatment. I have some Wharfedale Diamond Pro 8.2 monitors on the way. I'm about to order from foambymail.com to treat my room. As of now, above is my humble 11' x 11' studio where I do my mixing and sometimes track vox and sometimes guitars ( usually in living room ). I just need a decent economical mixing enviroment ( under $100 ). Any pointers would be appreciated!

My question is, do I foam all walls around me, or just the wall facing me? Do I need to get a few bass traps as well? Please help

Pointer # 1: hunker down and do some reading here before you order a pile of foam.

Pointer # 2: DIY is the best way to get the most for your money, and loads of people have posted here what they've done to their rooms with their own two hands.
