I was looking at some of the products on this site:

The "studio in a box" looked interesting, but I don't know what the terms polyflex and melaflex mean, or what the conversions to dollars are. Do you consider that stuff affordable where you live?

For what the terms polyflex and melaflex mean have a look at http://www.rpginc.com/ - that Profoam is their product.

As regards pricing well that's difficult really. In the UK acoustic products are typically expensive and hard to find - as with most stuff we pay the dollar price but unfortunately someone just changes the dollar sign to the pound - so we pay way more

This firm seem OK pricewise for the UK, but yes it's still expensive.
