I have a VS880 Xpanded and would like to know if I can load songs I recorded on it to a Roland VS1880 or VS2000? I realize that maybe the effects won't work but Could I remix on a newer machine?
You should be able to back up vs880 to scsi disk, then load back ups to 1880 or 2000.
The other option would be digi out of 880 to vs2000 digi in. This allows 2 tracks at a time...
Right now I have all my songs (data) backed up to CDs (no more need for a zip drive). I got the 3.205 version upgrade on my 880. Can I directly load those to 1880 or 2000? I am considering buying a used machine as my 880 lost a fader on track 4.
