transfering wav files

Hi,
I am planning on buying me the new tascam 2488 neo,at the moment i have an Akai dps16 track. I am transferring my songs into Wav files onto a cd data disc (being done thru the akai dps,and the external cd drive i have )the Akai is 16 bit - the rate is 44.1 k .....16 mono tracks ( multi track )wav file. I have never had a problem importing wav files from others to my Akai. I have never exported wav files,so i want to make sure,when I get the Neo,that they will import into the tascam machine.Will the Tascam Neo easily import my Wav files ?

I hope it is easier to use than my 2488 II, I have recorded a few tracks and just want to put reverb on and can't even do that! And somehow I have put a flanger on the vacals and can't get it off.
