Whats the best synth for thoes trance Leads and TB303 acid
basses. Iv made a Trance lead up on my JV1080 but it lacks
depth. and for Acid 303 sounds well not a chance in this module even as Iv got a Techno board?

I find that my JV1080 is a real pain to get sharp attack and fast decay times for apego stuff.

If you're looking for something trance/techno right out of the box any VA or analog modeling synth will do(nord lead, jp8000, ms2000, waldorf...). I have the korg ms2k. I would recommend you try that piece-o-kit out. But really when it comes to synthesis you can create a wide array of textures and colors from most synths(minus the dx series) that emulate sounds associated with specific genres of music. I have a friend who does some trance (http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/101/tom_popular_and_dan_kass.html)
and he used a korg trinity to create those sounds. Just try not to use the presets. Although some presets are classic, like the M1's sub lead. If get a chance to play an m1 or a trinity with the m1 board check that patch out, classic trance lead. So, I don't know. Maybe the jv doesn't suit your needs. Trance and techno in general has a lot real-time sound manipulating so check out the old juno's/jupiters and new VA's. If you have a lot of money read up on the new Alesis VA!!!

Depth you say? I use a JV-1080 with the Techno and Dance expansion boards. I do house music for clubs locally with this setup. Works fine for me. Do you have a program that will let you send .sys data from your computer to your 1080 to do a bulk dump? If you do, and its Soundiver, Ill send you the Master Library that I have for it. If not, I can send you a copy of it in .syx form.
