Listening to "sometimes you eat the bear." I really like this. Very good work, man.

I can't get to any songs on the site? Just two pages with no links?

Astounding!!!!

I just listened to "Sometimes You Eat The Bear" and I have to say, it was full-on 150% AWESOME!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!! I'm curious as to all the hows and whats though. You say you recorded it on a 4 track, was that song 4 tracks??? What kind of guitar, mic, other instruments were involved, any outboard mic pre-amps or just the ones in the Tascam 244??? How many vocal tracks, how many guitar tracks, any track bouncing???? I hate to be all 20 Questions but man, that song rocks ass!!!!!! Thumbs up dude!!!!!!!

Thanks scrubs

THanks it worked that time. I say that page before but all that was there was the picture??

On the music. Very cool! Really like the mix and the music. Very open and airy. It seems like you can really hear the room on the vocals.

thanks for the compliments guys. About the recording: sometimes you eat the bear was one track (spanish) guitar, one voice, one bass and one mic put in the middle of the room (sony stereo) where woody sang two lines through and also picked up a little of paul singing and playing (i think this is what makes this song sound so good).
The microphones where pretty crappy (except maybe for the sony) and plugged right into the tascam. I thinks this was the second take and all done at the same time except for the bass.

i.m recording again on sunday, they have about 14 songs. These will become some kind of demo to give to the producer in the studio later this year, as I am a amateur...with no gear at all.. :(

Oh Yeah!!!

Hey, what guitar chords did they use on "Sometimes You Eat The Bear"???
