Tracks 1 & 2 have both drums & guitar

My drum machine was routed into input A. My guitar into B. Both TRS. After recording I found that BOTH signals were present on both tracks.
I know these are both stereo tracks but shouldn't they be separate?

After thinking about this. Unless someonehas another reason, this is my reasoning.
I MUST have been using both internal mics for this to happen. I will be much more aware of my input settings in the future.
 
Or maybe you are recording to stereo tracks, and input A is Left, Input B is Right.

Definitely need to know what Eric asked. (y)
 
Oh, and I thought it was a "Tascam DP008EX" forum. Lol
 
Are you using the internal mics or line inputs? Nevermind. I reread your post.

Did you assign Input A to input A and Input B to input B in the screen?

Are your pans set to the middle?
