tracking drums, what sort of room?

oh and another thing. what is this microphone like for recording vocals? i wanted to get a nice vocal mic for a while, n if i can achieve this and a nice ambience mic at the same time then thatd be a treat thanks guys.

dear me sorry for 3 differnt posts but i had to add. The sm57 is VERY good on vocals aswell so dont buy a new mic. (if you were going to) It might be worth getting a wind shield though.
