Can someone tell me how to have songs mix into another track on cds? For example, how can I get the end of track 2 to go straight into track 3 without interruption? Is this done in the burning software, or is it done at the mastering stage? I'm currently fooling around with Cubase VST 5 (export wave then burn using Nero's latest version).

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

it is the software.

some burning software automatically puts a break in between each song.

i have SEKD's Samplitude Master, which i think cost $300. it has mastering algorithms, eq, fx, spec analyzer, fft filters and all that good stuff. it automatically converts a 48khz/24bit mixdown into 44.1khz/16bit when its burning the CD. it allows cross-fades (which is what you are talking about) between songs where you set the point at which the tracks change.

Cool! Thats exactly what I'm looking for.

If anyone knows any other way...please tell :)
