I have two channels of a show I recorded. I set up each channel how I basically want it EQ'd and added the inserts I want and have them basically set. I want to be able to cut each song out and be able to paste them into their own project, but retain the mixer settings (IE: insert settings) from the original project so I dont have to reload everything I need for each song.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Hmm..
If you are completely happy with the settings, couldn't you just print everything to the track? (or bounce?) Then you could go ahead and cut up the clip and copy the songs to their own tracks, or export the pieces.

sure I can do that, but i want to be able to edit the songs individually some are played with a capo and it effects the EQing differantly.

Theres gotta be away to do this.

It sounds like an unnecessary hassle to me. You should just record the session in one long raw stereo track then cut the session up into individual songs...move each to it's own track....THEN set up your parameters, and edit.
