I don't see why you have to be such an asshole about it everytime.
I don't see why you are offended. I find the whole thing cute, the way you work so hard to resurect stuff that should have been in a landfill 10 years before you were born.

Hey! I resemble that remark! I am in fact loaded with old gear - '61 Strat, '72 Les Paul, '74 J45, '64 Deluxe Reverb, '68 Super Reverb, '80-something SVT, a buttload of Shure 548's made in the 70's, a little early 60's Supro amp like Jimmy Page used to have (maybe he still has it), a bunch of old stomp boxes... the list goes on. I wouldn't trade my old gear for its weight in amp modelers.

I'm glad you find your time so useful to come here and be amused by me.

I actually don't work very hard at it either, I take my time. I have more important things. School, 3 month old, work. So go ahead, crack jokes. I find it "cute".

I notice you didn't have any 40 watt bass amps made by Traynor. There is nothing wrong with high quality vintage gear.

You're still not getting it. You remind me of me when I was in high school. You are waaaay too touchy about this.

Did my not including a smileyface occlude the fact that it was a joke? Lighten up, willya? :^)

Thought I would bring this thread back to life for anyone who is interested. Probably no one, but...

I took the amp to my coworkers house around 3 months ago for his brother to work on. His brother likes working on stuff like this - he does some pretty crazy stuff, like what he's done with his car, etc. and refused to take any payment for it. He works constantly so he worked on it slowly, which was fine with me because I hardly need it. I'm supposed to get it back tomorrow.

At first his brother (my coworker) said something like one of the resistors was messed up and now he says that one of the wires for the larger caps had snapped or something. I haven't talked to the guy directly so I don't know, just thought I'd post an update.
