Just my personal tastes:
The percussion part (like bongos/congas) are way too loud at the beginning or during the other lower volume parts like at 3:50. Too much reverb on the lead vocal. At around 1:55 when more guitars come in they get a little muddy, too much going on for 5-10 seconds. The BG vocal that comes in around 3:45 sounds very indistinct - like it was compressed too much or the high end was EQed out.
 
I would add the lead vox could come down just a few in the start. It is really good, just really pushed upfront. Bass is a little rumbly, you may want to cut some on the 100 or below (not a hard cut, roll off).

Thanks for the input guys. I'll take your recommendations under consideration. The bass needs adjusted. I also see what you say about the other things. Gonna get it fixed...:thumbs up:
 
Not bad, well put together. I would say that the reverb and the delay on the lead vox is a little much during the beginning section.
 
I enjoyed the song, it's structure, arrangement and performance.

I have only a few concerns

1 Reverb and vocal . . . it's not that there is too much, it's more that it is not quite right for the song. The reverb you have has a very boxy sound, where I think it would benefit from something more open. Interestingly, this was less noticeable later in the song.

2 I get the early percussion . . . the drum machine that starts, then the kit comes in. It is, however, not an uncommon technique, so you might rethink it. However, I agree that dropping it a bit in level at the start would work.

3 I liked the bass. I was getting a good rich sound.

4 I wasn't keen on the lead guitar bit. The playing was fine, but the left and right chorussy thing and the sound itself didn't excite me. I wonder whether it is even necessary? I'm dead on keen on leaving things on the cutting room floor.

5 I agree with mjbphotos about the guitar entries at 1:45: it's all a bit of a brief jumble there.

6 Background vocals are ok, but could use a bit of brightness and dropped in level a bit to compensate.

Yep vocal had too much reverb/echo for that style of singing ...and tambourine voice on the drum machine stood out too much as a distraction.
 
I don't mind the reverb.
But at around 1:00 when all the instruments start coming in, the vocal gets forced out, especially the instruments panned a bit left seem to overpower them.
The percussion elements could be a bit quieter at the beginning. The "boop boop" sound I find a bit annoying.

Love the sound on the lead guitar at 2:44. It's neat how it almost stays behind the rhythm guitar and sits nicely inside of the music.
 
I'd EQ out some of the boom of that bongo kind of sample that's in the main rhythm. The snare and toms are a choked out in the high frequencies as well.

Nice guitar solo, it's that quintessential Strat sound. Nice playing as well.

That reverb on the lead vocal doesn't sound bad to me. It's not what I would have chosen, but I get sick of auditioning gazillions of reverbs so I get it. You could dry it up a bit though. You've got a nice voice and the song doesn't really call for a dripping wet lead vocal. The background vocals in the end could come down just a bit.
