I seem to be seeing a recurring theme in music appreciation.
A piece of music will be loved by the masses for no other reason than it is different.
It seems that even the best formats wear off after a while when they are overused.
The big question is: How does one do different? I mean, How does a country singer who is used to the same format melodically as well as lyrically suddenly come up with something "DIFFERENT"?
