email me in private, and maybe we can work something out.
>what kind of amp?
The amp is just a cheap Johnson amp, 30 watts or something, it's worth about 50 bucks. I don't think it's made by the famous Johnsn. This is truly a shitty little amp, but it's all I have right now.
> did you run your ovation into it? onboard amp emulation or fx box or amp overdrive? phaser effect from where?
No, the acoustic was miced with my Studio projects C-1 mic. After recording it, I added some chorus on the VF effects.
The electric was into a Johnson J-station, then into my amp, and then I miced it also with my C-1 mic. The lead guitar was straight into the amp and also miced with the C-1. The bass was direct into my Mackie 1202 VLZ pro. All this was run through an RNC compressor on supernice mode. The RNC is a wonderful compressor, and even pros from all over the country love them.
>nice chops and playing. I get sick of hearing 12 bar blues, but that was sweet.
Glad you liked it, but I really didn't even mean for this to be a song. This was done the first day that I had the Vf-160. The only reason I uploaded it was to let my Nephew hear it. I will get better recording when I get used to the machine. Like I said, I have owned a few of these digital recorders, so that helped when I got the Fostex. My nephew just got the MR8, his first digital recorder, and talk about funny. He is having to learn from the ground up. He doen't even understand what punching in, or bouncing, or anything means yet. I'll help him through the learning curve, I hope.
have a good one.
