About a year ago I was really up on my research about home recording. But everything has changed.
I'm looking to get into a digital recoder that is moderately priced and fits my basic needs (mostly rcording guitars, vocals, and turntables, and the ocational drum set).
So far I've been looking at the ZOOM MRS1044, and the FOSTEX VF-160.
Does anyone have any recommendations regarding these two, or a better?
My concerns of the ZOOM is regarding the amount of inputs and simultanious recordable tracks available.
My concerns for the FOSTEX are that I heard that it dosn't have many virtual tracks--does that mean I can't keep recording tracks and compressing them, like the Roland and others.
