I'm thinking about getting an EMU MP-7 and I wanted to know what yall think of it. Can you make some pretty dope beats with this thing, or is it all a little wack. Tell me what you think.
Oh Yeah, I heard it doesnt sample stuff from a floppy or zip disk, it hooks up to a computer. Is that true?
Its a pretty dope machine. I'm in the process of learning it now and its pretty simple. Its got the mo phatt sounds which are tight although some are chessy. The only thing it doesnt do is sample, thats why I'm trying to hook it up to run with my EPS 16+.
if you've already got a sequencer on a computer, your probaly better getting a Mo-phatt and spending the difference on a cheap sampler. The sounds are abit 'clean' on the mo-phatt the layer very well with dirty samples to clean them up a bit.
