This is my vocal booth in my walking closet, I'm very fortunate have a walk thats really big.

I've been recording in it with blankets and Mattress foam covering up all that crap.

Heres what it looks like after some extensive cleaning, and shelve removal.

Right now I'm using this just for tracking rap vocals to beats that are already made so I'm trying to get the cleanest sound pre-mix. Any ideas of what to put in here, right now its mattress foam. Maybe get some acoustics foam and thats it?

If your vocal booth sounds good--you're done!! What you put in it depends on what you need to get rid of, I.E. if it is too resonant then you need traps; if it is too 'dead' then you need less foam and more diffusion.

Ah ok then, I'll slip some foam behind me and do a test recording to see what I'm working with. Thanks for the info!
