Hi
I am just starting out in recording my rappping and singing
i have a mxl 2001 is it a good mic?
do you have any advice or tips for how to record and what equipment to use for rap

sure that is the first mic i ever bought but it was called the adk a51 very nice mic.

you need a pop filter to get it real clean.

good closed back headphones so the backing track does not leak into mic.

what mic pre or sound card you using?
