that Aphex rack is great stuff anyone who used and likes it holds it high, some would just say "that person is high", but...to each their own. Those were the days of being original was cool and not being a clone of 1073.
ADA guitar rack was the thing to have, built to withstand a thousand bar gigs and no tubes to burn out 10 minutes before the bar opened.

Would you believe it still works? 40 + years old. When I was a freshman in HS the salesman told me it would last my lifetime. I think he is gonna be correct.

then again there is the B rack. The lowliest, dirty, cheap, stack of good fer nuthin..I like goofin with that too.

I used two Rocktron Intellifex's - way back when - and they were neither cheap nor prosumer - I also used Rolands SDE3000's - two of them - and while they were a better sounding unit than the Rocktron - the Rocktrons helped me get The Fixx and The Police guitar tones - which of course I made my own signature.

Got the 530 pre amp in today.
Incredibly versatile
4 channels from ultra clean to WTF is this noise.
Very tight and powerful and cuts through a mix like an angry warm knife through butter
Perfect addition soundwise to my other pre amps and amps.
Still can't wrap my head around the fact 19" gear is sold for next to nothing. But i don't complain
