Time Signatures!

I try not to focus on the time signatures, play what you feel and let it be what it is. If I was a drummer, it would be different. BUT I like a lot of 5/4 and 7/4 stuff but only if it's done correctly. Also it's always cool to intertwine signatures....like going from 4/4 to 6/8 or vice versa. there are my three cents...

5/4 and 7/4 are my favorite ones. personally i only like using odd time signatures if you can make an interesting groove out of it. i'm not a fan when someone uses an odd time signature for the sake of sounding complicated.
