That looks nice

My buddy has an Artist that sounds just like a LP. There are issues with weight distribution on some Ibanez Artists. His is so bad he won't even play it standing up. The sad thing is he can't sell it either because Ibanez guitars don't hold their value to well. So there it sits in a corner.

Myself, I am proud to be Ibanez free since 2003...

Looks good to me. I'd have to play it to see if it felt right, but it certainly seems like a good deal for the money. I'd probably take something like this over one of the Gibson LP studios kicking about these days.

I have my doubts about how much this guitar would sound and feel like a real Les Paul. I have a mid-80's LP Custom and very few other guitars have the same solid feel to them. I recall a $2000+ PRS that felt about the same, and recently picked up a Gibson Chet Atkins solid body that feels pretty close to the same. Even the Epi LP's, which are really nice guitars, feel a little cheap compared to the real thing.

If you end up getting that beast please post back here and let us know how you like it. It does look like a sweet deal.

Take care,
Chris

It has everything a Les Paul has. Mahogony body, maple top, rosewood fretboard, Inlays, and even fine tuners. This guitar would have to sound almost like one.
I would guess that if the pickups are similar, it probably would. I don't think I would ever order a guitar online if I'd never played it, however...

Like Rokket said, don't buy a guitar on line. For one thing, you can't check the neck to make sure it's straight. And you can't observe the action either. There are any number of very common flaws that you can't check for.
