Really great man.....the only thing I'd like is for that low-fi intro to be a bit louder. I had to turn it up a lot to hear what's being said and when the music came in it was blasting. Other than that.....it's just a fine song and recording.

SALUTE!!!

Very very good.

Great vocal performance, excellent drum programming, intricate songwriting, especially the chorus.

Only a very few mixing comments:

I'd like to hear the bass a wee bit louder, just a touch.

The hard-panned "arpeggio" guitars soud slightly too "up-front". Maybe bring them in slightly (about 3/4 panned instaed of hard-panned) or slightly increase the reverb, or even lower the volume very slightly?

But these are just nit-picks. It's a great piece of work. And I really like the intro.

Cheers

The snare has a weird distant quality to it. I'm not sure I dig it. The toms are great and huge. The chorus part has a strange disjointed drum part. I'm not sure if it works. To me it sounds a bit weird, but you don't seem to do standard drum tracks anyway :D so it's cool. Vocals are great. The whole song just doesn't flow that good to me. There's great stuff here, but I think the drum thing makes it hard to follow. Might be one of those songs that I'd have to listen more. Still a great song.

Terrific production as always. I liked the guitars on this - both their tonal qualities and the way the parts played off each other. Smoother harmonies on this one than I recall hearing from you before.

Is there a pop at about 2:08? I suppose if I weren't lazy, I'd re-download it to see if it were a glitch there. But I heard something...

Aside from the fact that I've heard enough political songs to last me 10 lifetimes :D I liked it. I've written political lines in 3 or 4 songs, but I always go back and replace them. I'm a wussy.
