My computer (I take it that's what you are talking about) is just out of shot of my main desk. However my main recording is recorded/edited using a DAW. I have the BOSS 1600CDR. As far as the DAW's go the BOSS unit is very versatile. I am looking for some software that I can wave edit etc.

Ok, thats what I was wondering. Cant wait to hear some recordings in that room.

looks awesome Gorty, nice collection of guitars you got there. i have the MoPads too, and they are pretty neat. if anything, they are good for helping lift the monitors to ear-level! :D :D

Unless your monitors were already at ear-level and then when you put your monitors on the Mo-pads they are too high! :D

Thanx zed! :)

yeah but if they're too high, you can pull one of the pieces of foam out so that they angle down! brilliant invention those MoPads hehe

...or if they are too low you can turn one of the pieces of foam around and angle your monitors up! :)

This is a doorway that I boarded up and placed 4" of OC703 covered with some material to contain the fibres etc. It's hard to see from the photograph but the black cloth is covering the 4" OC703 which brings the surface flush with the door frame.
I have fixed the frame of which will be my broadband absorber to the wall. The reason the frame extends to one side is to centralize the broadband absorber because the door frame is not in the middle of the wall.

In this picture the pink rigid fibreglass is 1" thick. The panel on the right has a piece of 2" OC703 behind the 1" rigid fibreglass.
What we have now is the left and central panels have 5" of OC703 and the right hand panel which has wall behind it is 3" of OC703.

This pink rigid fibreglass is the foil backed type here in Australia. I removed the foil backing for this project quite easily.

Now to make it look all pretty and to follow the theme to the rest of my room I have started fixing some 2" Auralex Wedgies to the frame with Tubetak liquid adhesive from Auralex. I also added a piece of timber down the middle of the framework to give more surface area for the DST-244 to adhere to.

Here I have finished fixing the Auralex to the top section of my rear wall broadband absorber.
I have made another section of framing here to bring the absorber down the wall further. The reason for two seperate frames is due to the wood panelling and the moulding that caps the panelling. It involved a little extra work doing it in two sections but there was panel thickness etc etc to take into consideration so I did it like this.

I filled the bottom section of the frame with OC703 the same as the top section and finished fixing the Auralex Wedgies and burgundy DST 244 to the frame.

The finished product!

It's a AOR Series 100 Watt Pro-Tube.
Maintenance wise I don't think I could put you onto anyone unless you live in Western Australia.
