Just recorded a vocal track yesterday, it was in the multitrack (which had already 10 or so tracks in it) and existed of one mono clean take on one track and a stereo print of my outboard fxgear on the other.
Everything went well, saved it etc.
Then, when I moved on with some keyboardstuff on another track, the vocal part appeared to be way out of time entirely, about a minute. Just the mono track, not the fx-track.
I took a closer look on it, the first thing I thought I had accidently moved the block to the left, but it was still locked in the right time, synchronized to the fx-track. The diagram showed nothing strange, the vocal and fx-track looked fine (more or less the same) in relation to each other.
Having the mono track in Edit view, it's no less stranger.
I see the waveform as I recorded it, but when I press Play I hear something entirely different than what I see. There's for example a lot of vocal to be heard on a part that graphically appears to be empty, and silence or very soft stuff on parts that reacht -3db..
I've tried to restart the computer and all, but nothing worked. I have fixed it for now by moving the block to the right on ear, so now it looks graphically idiot, but sounds right again.
I hope somebody can help me out of this one, thanks!
