First recording, feedback would be appreciated.

This is my first recording. It’s a synth piece with at guitar solo over it. Let me know what you think. Please provide some feedback.

Pretty cool sounds man, smooth
The synth is deep and the guitar tone is nice.
This is like the top gun theme in slow motion under water (i guess that's a compliment ) reminds me of one of the songs on the new satch cd a bit too... I forget the name

Thanks Snakedog for the reply. I know what you are saying about the Top Gun thing and you're right it does a litte, that made me laugh. I am hoping to post more in the future.

Nice keyboards throughout...nice full backing track with many different sounds.

Guitar has a nice tone to it, nice vibrato, cool effects.

Sounds like you're using a mic on the guitar - yes?

Good mix between keyboards and guitar.

And no drums but I never missed them at all......

Thanks for the reply. The synth is a Korg Triton Extreme, awesome sounds on that board. I recorded the guitar solo out of a POD XT and the line wasn't stereo for the guitar, that is why it sort of weak and not as full as it could be. I plan on posting more work as I complete them.

Nice, real cool. I am a big synth guy, I like what you did and the Korg sounds great. Nice ambient thang going on here, balance just fine.

Any way to make this "wider"? Sounds too much like its coming from the center?? This would be even cooler if it had more panning with the ambient synth stuff. Very nice, good job.

Thanks, I appreciate the feed back. Yeah I know, I messed up when I first recorded it and it was mono. It’s sounds good, but like you said, if I would have been way better full stereo, that is where the panning problem lies.

Thanks again for the info. I plan on posting more and that problem will be fixed in future posts.
