hi, first off sorry for using the cubase forum but ive tried everywhere.

i've been using steinberg nuendo for about two months now, but i've had to record guitars through my edirol UA25 interface on audacity and paste them as mp3 files into nuendo because i can't figure how to configure nuendo to use my interface.

Ive managed to do it on hundreds of other softwares, but whenever i try on nuendo it always records through my laptops terrible built in mic!

sorry for asking on here, but i figure nuendo and cubase will have the same audio properties sections

any help greatfully received!

Try the getting started section in your manuals. Go through it step by step so you can properly set your drivers up in the software.

i've tried ! not much help :( also tried an online video tutorial, no help.

so im guessing it should come up with EDIROL UA25 under VST inputs though right? thats the correct setting?

geeeeeee....... you cant get your $2.5k software to work with your $250 interface???? despite having no problem with hundreds of other software????
and could it be the reason you didnt find it in the start up manual is because you dont have a manual???? and the reason you havent gotten help from steinberg is it's not registered????fuk off pirate...

Yep, you are using the wrong driver. Call Stienberg. They offer fantastic support, especially for Nuendo users.

LMFAO!!!!

10 character limit's are obnoxious at times....although I guess my post isn't really constructive anyway, which I assume is the purpose of the 10 character limit - but hey, damnit. That was funny!
