Starting with what Sam's saying....

... about 4 weeks ago (when I was just a nooooo b ) a couple of song posters (one in particular) seemed to be ignoring my input into their threads.

Since then (whether he was clued in by someone, or not) this individual has been very complimentary of my 2¢ on his songs to the point where he PMed me (a rare occurrence! Unlike Sam & crawdad, my inbox will never fill up ) He went out of his way... eventually to thank me for my effort in critiquing his stuff.

Point is... it could just be a misunderstanding -- or an oversight. Yeah, if it happens EVERY TIME it would get annoying but this is just another angle on the problem...

SLuiCe (yup; a name-dropper I is ) is a bang-up feller. Great guy.

I'm trying to figure this out: Are we going to live forever or not? cause if we aren't I won't keep trying to live forever, because not living forever means I'm gonna die, but if we ARE going to live forever then I will keep on trying--but I won't really HAVE to try cause I'm going to live forever anyway. Which brings up another question: if we are going to live forever, is that a good thing or a bad thing or does forever really matter and are we returning to forever or is forever just a long long time?

Now, let's not get hasty. Nobody's died yet from using the BBTTE. Oh sure, there have been some small side effects in 1% of the users (cough, fever, diarreah, vomiting, open sores, dizziness, blurred vision, blurred hearing, heart palpatations, stiff joints, hair loss, impotence, dry mouth, spotted fever, etc). Remember, this thing is "ameliorative" which Webster defines as "making better". I wouldn't worry about it!

See, this is a testimonial. Mkg of the Homerecording board states (indirectly) that "the BBTTE is of a higher technological order than the lava lamp". PROOF that it works!

One last thought on posting, responding and so forth. In my very first ever post in the MP3 forum, the first reply I got was a rather nasty slam. Not helpful, just sarcastic and below the belt. I allowed it to hurt my feelings, like an idiot. The rest of the replies that followed were incredible.

From this I learned one thing. You gotta have a bit of a thick skin if you are going to participate in something as potentially sensitive as exposing your own work to people you've never met. You can't take everything so personal, whether you feel like you are being ignored, criticized or blindly attacked. Somebody will come along and hate your work and tell you so, rudely. Some won't ever give the courtesy of a thank you for responding to their stuff.

Almost everybody here, though is damn cool. Big thumbs up (lets show the love for the HR folks. please!). When you get the loose cannon, don't take it to heart. Just see it for what it is.

I'm done talking about this. I do love you all and do consider you an extended family of artists, creators and thinkers. People I'm proud to call friends.
