Nice tune man, I like it alot.

I thing the drums sound awesome.. I wish I could get mine to sound that good.

The verse guitars sound a little bright.
The chorus guitars IMO lack a *little* definition in the context of the song. Just a nit pick. :)
The lead guitar has a great sound to it, very mellow.
Your vox sit great, harmonies sound great too.

So.. whats your setup on the rums anyhow? (feel free to PM if you don't want to clutter your thread. :) Thanks

Thanx alot VSpace....Like Tim also mentioned, you're right about those verse guitars. I wanted a clean sound there, but I should have just stayed with the intro sound which is semi-dirty.
You also might have a point about the chorus guitars. The reason the leads sound warm is because I turned down the tone on my strat. However, I also did that to the rythms in the chorus and they might have better served with the tone up to get more bite. I'll think about re-tracking, it's only my first go-round with this song.
This is exactly why I post my tunes so quick after "finishing" them. I know they're not finished so I might as well get feedback from people with better ears and more knowledge of guitar sound than I possess...Thanx alot.

As for my drums, it's a pretty simple set-up. 5-piece kit. 4 mics (2 overheads, snare and kik) 2XC1000's for OV's, 57 on the snare, D-112 on the kik. Everything goes straight into the tracks. Afterwards, I pass the kik and the snare through my FOCUSRITE VOICEMASTER pre-amp to add some compression. I lleave the OV's untouched.

Another hot tune Rami. As Dogman and Ray said so well, it's a new vibe (to me at least) compared to the tunes I've heard from you before. It's more mellow, with a slower tempo. But it still rocks out during the chorus, bringing back that Rami style.
Everything sounds nicely balanced in the mix, and the performance is as always top notch.
Really like the break/solo on this one....that tone change is nice....
I've been listening to your latest album this week during my daily commute, enjoying it immensely....

I cant remember hearing this tune before.

First of; the tune is great, I agree with Dogman on his remarks about your versetality. rock on man.
The Preformance is jsut great, nothing to say on it but great.

The recording sounds like it left Rami`s Hit factory, you really have a uniqque sound man.

I got nothing left to say but high praise.

Btw my ears are quite shot tonight so I wont go into any levels and sutch, but It sounded great to me, fwiw :)

Oh my...Rami...this is a style of singing that suits you so well....your voice melts me on this one.

There is a new emotion I have not heard in your vocals before. There is sometimes a reason for putting off today, what we shall do tomarrow...I think this is an example.

I can't comment any farther than this yet. I am still soaking up your vox....and emotions.

You've got a real good melody happening between the vocal and guitar, that's what I like about this song. My only nit is the snare to me is lacking just a little bit of crispness, prefer a bit less stick bit more snare. Having said that, it cuts through extremely well. Top production values, though..really pro sound

Just a short review since I don't really hear anything to nit here...
definitely one of my favs from you. Just love the mood and lyrics on this one, great stuff man    Geez man, at this rate you'll have another CD out in no time!

Whoah...sorry for not responding to IDO, True, Nak, Bull and Snake...

I put up another tune and totally forgot about this thread. I apologise. All your comments put a smile on my face, and True always puts a bigger smile on my face. Thanx for the comments, guys.

I'm going to brighten the snare a tad and I've already got rid of that too bright clean guitar in the first 2 verses. The advice I get here is always great, so I took most of it into consideration again.

It's not the first song on my page any more, so anyone going to listen will now hear No. More Mr. Nice Guy, and this song, "Scars" is now the second tune.
