Been working on this one for a couple weeks now--time's at a premium with a newborn.

Please let me know what you think.....it's called Then You Were Gone.

PS--yes, i know it needs a solo in the 'interlude'.

It could definitely use some drums. I found it to be a bit long. You could either reduce the number of verses and choruses, or you could add more variation to the later sections to "justify" the length of almost 7 minutes.

It's not bad though, there's nothing wrong with the guitar, bass, and organ tones.

thanks steve! it definiely needs drums, but instead of using "canned" drums i want to lay down some real ones, and with the aforementioned 7-week-old, that's been proving difficult at best. soon, i hope.....

and i agree--it needs some "lead voices" to break up the "interludes", the solo verse and at the end. i haven't had a chance to lay those down yet either. for the solo.....do you think organ or guitar?

i suppose i might've been a little premature in posting it......but it's not often that i get something new down.....let alone to this extent of completed.
