glad to hear you're getting the most out of it. For not much money, you can get the behringer ada8000 which adds adat connection and 8 pres with phantom so you can record 8 tracks at once.

True. I'll look into that, but I think we're doing decent as is. We seem to work pretty good with what we've got, and if I learn to utilize limited equipment, I think being able to use alot more will be alot easier. Money is hard to dedicate to a hobby in this day and age as well, actually and day and age. Especially for college guys!

Totally. I learned the hard way never to depend on my memory. I picked up a Fostex VM200 digital mixer to mate up to my FD8. That handles most of the settings problem for me. Plus it has adat. Now if I could just get my ass in the basement to record....
