LOL. Good point. I did not do the math but it sounds logical.
 
"Average" is a mathematical fiction, not something to aspire to. Get back in there and practice!

actually, i don't recall anyone mentioning that we were measuring average using arithmetic mean. mean and median are two ways to measure the average, or central tendency. it is true that most people would use the mean, but average does not strictly equate with mean.
 
Just do as good as you can then push yourself to do better. If you fail then people will laugh. But if you suceed then who knows what could happen. 90% of men say they know their limitations. 80% of statistics are a pile of pish.
