Hi Greg, it sounds very good, like a Punk song should sound, rough, it feels like you are in the garage playing, don't know why, but i feel it that way. Not over produced and that's cool...

Good Job

This is cool - reminds me of the Eddie & the Hot Rods version more than the original (more energy than the original).
Nice bass tone & excellent bass playing!
Different set of drums behind your voice Greg - well done Voxxy for shifting him & for doing a great job on sticks too!

Great stuff, didn't like the sound of the kick sounded a bit flabby and isolated almost plasticy like someone bouncing a basketball everything else sounded great. I loved the bass tone

Thanks man. I tried to keep the guitars and bass raw-ish sounding. Voxxy is into natural sounding drums, so I left em that way.

Thanks Ray. The bass was the most fun part, and this is the first time I've let someone else do the drumming duties. :D

Thanks for checking it out. I left the drums just as he sent them to me. I think the drum sound fits the song pretty good. The kick is a Ludwig 20" and I think it's unmuffled - probably similar to what Keith Moon used. We obviously didn't try to replicate things exactly, but we tried to keep it garage-like.

You picked a good who cover. I did like it but the sound didn't seen as defined as your normal songs as far as the highs. Is it just me? I got a copy of Joey's Age Of Decay today so I might be a little def from listening to that. Oh well, good job Greg. What's the next Who tune your gonna try?

If you don't mind me asking...who is voxxy?

Anyway, I like that you changed this one up as much as you did. Not a big Who fan, but I certainly know this tune. The arrangement is very well thought out. Liking the background vocals.

Drums sound different for sure, they seem to be spread a bit wider than when you track them maybe? Some of the fills here are remarkably precise. Overall the mix seems to lack some of the energy that others of yours have, but it is very clear and the performances are great. It really sound very very good overall to me.

There's a strange partial guitar chord after the song ends...a hidden ending?

Cool stuff guys.

"Greg Dalshendwistle"..HAHAHAHA!!!!
Lol. Thanks Rambo!

Thanks dude. It might be just you with the highs. They sound fine to me and no one else has said anything about them yet. But I haven't listened to this on anything else, so there could be a problem somewhere that I'm not catching yet. I don't know what we're gonna do next. Something later in their catalog I'm sure. Maybe something Quadrophenia-ish. :D

Thanks heat. No hidden ending. Just a sloppy "ba-dump" ending that I might have chopped off too soon. :o

Voxxy is Voxvendor in here. He's Voxxy Brown at A&A. His drumming style and sound is pretty significantly different than mine, so that may contribute to it sounding different from what one may expect from me if they're familiar with my style. It's intentional. It's a collab. If I wanted to sound like my usual stuff, I would have just done it myself, but faster. :p

I think Voxxy did a great job. He was originally supposed to do the backups and some extra guitar stuff and maybe some Baba O'Riley style keys in addition to his drums, but some things came up and I just finished it. This was basically a test-run for him. New studio, new sound treatments, new mic technique, new drum riser, new everything. The guitars are a little more jangly, not as thick, I'm not screaming, and the drums are more "raw" than my drum tracks usually are. All this adds up to a different sound.

Great, loved it!
Song perfectly fits your style, Greg. Damn, Voxxy's a pretty good drummer, too! Mix sounds great to me and your guitar playing and voice kick ass. Well done and more please!

(...now where did I park my Vespa? :D)

Joey :):):):)

Sounds great. Good energy, nice harmonies, guitars sound good.

Nice job.

Awesomeness at its best, my brother! I think it sounds great at is. If anything, I would bring up the guitars a little, but just like a decibel or so. Great collab. Keep em' coming!

Awesome guys...really like the vocals....chugging is cool on the bridge...great job on bass!Drums are kickin' ...love the tempo ....you guys rock!

I know who voxxy is...but who the fuck is Greg?

He's that awesome dude.

No, I checked it again and you cut it off just fine. I was listening too quietly last night and didn't catch that the lingering chord that led up to the ba-dump. It makes sense now...all is well (now that I've cranked it).

Ok, I've heard the name Voxvender before. Yes, he did an awesome job :D. I don't think your playing styles are all that different, but I'm not an expert by any means. The sound of the kit seems really different though, and that's cool. I probably shouldn't have said it lacks energy, it's just a different kind of energy. As aggressive as it is, it is a little mellower than some of your stuff, and that's cool too. I'm like uhhh, it sounds different man...no shit, it is different:o:D!

Now, I want to hear one with both of you on drums ala allman bros. or something...:D I know...not happening...:p

I like the kick sound - overall great job - the lead vocal got buried for me a couple of times, but I don't mind that. BG Vox sounded really cool and well placed. Voxxy's using different cymbals and/or overhead mics from you - I like both sounds

I'm going to fucking learn drums. Just give me about 40 years.

Great job. The drums sound really good, excellent tracks from voxxy. Greg is an star.
