the VHT valvulator

I looked up reviews on this and it had me sold to buy one, but then i read it does the same thing as FX loops,

does anyone know about these, if i was gonna run it through my FX loop of a MESA would it be worth the 200 bones?

im a tone freak BTW so anything to make my tone better does matter alot to me,

The Valvulator changes a high impedence signal, to a low imp. signal. I use mine first in line in my guitar's fx pedal chain (13 fx pedals). If you use a lot of fx pedals, your signal becomes degraded by the time you reach your amp, the Valvulator helps to remedy this. As a bonus you also get a good power supply for up to eight pedals (if you daisy chain).
