Here's a new one I'm working on. No melody yet but I'm thinking a medium tempo 4/4 for this.... Feedback is appreciated on anything - lyrics, meter, phrasing etc. I'll try to work on some music for it and update this post when I can....

For the first time in a while

Yeah, mate I just read your reply in that thread...really glad you liked it. I have a broken right hand and wrist at the moment, but as soon as I recover I'm gonna get back into recording more...and I'm gonna do that one again.

By the way, I'm gonna give your soundclick page a listen as soon as my net isn't shaped anymore. Maybe we have similar tastes, talk to you later.

Ouch - sorry to hear about your broken hand and wrist. How did that happen? Are you right handed? Must be a big downer not to be able to play.

I fell down a big flight of stairs backwards. Beer was involved...broke my jaw, fractured skull, and other things. Am recovering well

Double ouch - that sounds painful - glad to hear you are recovering well. Do you have your jaw wired shut because of the break - milkshake diet...?

Hey ido1957, I am now unshaped...listened to you songs...very drum and bass and live sounding. My friends had a band that sounded similar. I liked Good Friends the best.

No problem posting your lyrics. I like them. I checked out web site and played the tune. Cool music and vocals - catchy and groovy. Nice mix too - but it was kinda quiet compared to the heavy metal we get on this site . I had it cranked and it was still quiet - cool but quiet.

Still working towards a melody on mine - maybe later this week....

Thanks Nicole - today is a busy day (chores) but I hope to get something done with my writing partner Mike tomorrow and maybe the next day (vacation this week).

BTW - any new stuff from Nicole Rose in the works?? I dig that lead guitar work of yours - you can never have too much lead guitar.

there's some stuff in the works yes, but it will be some time. i need to find someone to sing it. for now i'm thinking of producing something instrumental.

I am getting it mastered once i finish the rest of the songs for our album, so it's kind of low. I don't want to mess with it, i'd rather just mix it well and then let the mastering engineer pump it through his nice gear, and he is experienced and knows what he's doing too.
I'd like to hear your song when it's done too.
