bummer.......
it worked when i first posted it.

here's the link:

i'll fix it in the OP as well...

thanks for the headsup!!! i would have never known otherwise

Wow, nice. Like the clean guitar tone on the back right . Bass growl came through really well. I'm not a pro, but I liked it.

No probs with the 1st link for me.
As usual the playing & tones are terrific. This one reminded me of jan hammer era Jeff Beck.
I'd have enjoyed a vocal though.

thanks for coming back and checking it out......

bass growl, yes, exactly what i was going for.
glad you liked it

appreciate the comments.
yes, Beck was one of my earliest influences, first thru Beck Bogart and Appice, then back to truth and JB group, later with blow by blow and wired.
and there IS a vocal.......!
in there....
somewhere......

Sick with dat guit-stick bro!!! In other words, nice guitar playing. This is a new approach for you, I think. The atmosphere took me back to Frank Gambale or something. The drums were a little understated, but it works. I did keep hearing this annoying sound like a digital clip around the same frequency as a cymbal. I think it kept coming up on the one of a few measures, so it seems to be part of the beat. Maybe that's supposed to be there? Anyway, great listen! :D

Dude... Total chilly-groovin. Mixed and matched to perfection. I love the subdued monster bass walkin' all over the place, and the guitar work was pro. I only have one suggestion... Well... It's more like a plea. *please* let me know when this album is purchasable. I'll definitely be buying one. I *really* dig this groove. No nits at all. No need for vocals, either. It's perfect as-is.

thanks for translation.
heheh
that digital clip, is just ambient noise creating time signatures.
on casual listening, it sounds like noise.
on critical listening, it's real obvious the effect...
appreciate the listen.

poetic
thanks for listening!
this album.....i'm finished with the mixes, right or wrong, i'll start mastering this week, as soon as i'm done, i'm uploading to CDBaby (and I-tunes) and i'll put a headsup out, as soon as the product is a product.
thanks for the interest!

thanks for checking it out.
i'll give you a headsup too.

some nice jammy shreddery.
all instruments seem well balanced, great git playing. like the interwoven "found noises".

Just fantastic guitaring, Gonzo.

I can't think of anything to add, so I'm just going to listen to it again. :0

thanks for listening, appreciate it....
"interwoven 'found noises' "... yes!
some folks here it as noise...but i think they're just not really listening that close, it's pretty obvious with a good playback system.

supercreep
glad you dig it man....
just keep listening.......
more to come. album out soon........

Loved it. Extremely well done; there's so much going on yet it just all seems to work together, no doubt in part to the mix.

Beautiful, totally groovy, man! Pristine performance and recording. Totally sick guitar playing!:)

Haven't heard your stuff in a long time, but I remember it being top shelf material. And you continue the tradition with this one.....

Great listen. Thanks for feeding our ears. :)

.

Just curious, does that mean it stays in the mix?
I noticed it right away, thinking something was wrong with the recording.

I think you mentioned once you use a Delta audiophile card. Did you use it for this recording?

Overall sounds great, great performance.

Great tune man - very funky. Has a great warm tone overall. I like the ending too.

thanks rick, appreciate it. i think the mix is really basic, it's only one stereo rhythm track, 3 guitars and one bass.
the arrangement is what's key in this one, to make it all fit.

joeym
glad you dig it joey!
thanks for listening

chili
well man, i'm sure glad you check this one out.....
i've got an album coming out, this is the title track.
i'll put a 'headsup' when it's available.....wont be long.

pdp
yes, the sound effects are integral to the rhythm track, so it stays in the mix.
there are no clips in the recording, those noises were chosen on purpose, the overall peak on the music rhythm track is only -7db, with the RMS values around -14, so there are no signals anywhere near peak.

the delta audiophile card has been excellent so far, yes, it was used for playback, but all of the guitars and bass were sent in via digital spdif, so the convertors were not used for any of this particular recording.
i've done my entire album with this card now, and have been very pleased when using the convertors.
