Constructively, I could not hear the bass....maybe due to my shitty work speakers...maybe it's not there. If it is there, maybe try to cut some of the guitars low end to make room for it, and compress it. Also, the drums were awefully lost. You might want to try to mix the guitar a little lower overall so the guitar and drums are roughly the same percieved volume....with the drums *just* below the guitars...my 2 pennies. I liked the guitar sound you have though.... :cool:
 
No bass here either but that's on my PC speakers too. If there is no bass recorded then that's fine...

The second guitar - the one that slides, and the one in the "bridge" - it
could be a little louder - but that's just IMHO. The way it is lends itself well to dynamics.

The drums are low in the mix and could be a bit louder.

There is some kind of tambourine?? sound I heard mid way through that sounds off time - maybe it's just me but it was distracting enough to notice.

I agree with the last post - great guitar sound(s) .

I think I like the drums but I need to hear them louder to be sure.

Really good song overall....

Same here with the lack of bass... Guitar sounds good for the kind of stuff you are doing... Doesn't seem to have alot of the higher mids boosted, but that works. Sounds like there is tape his in the background or some kind of air sound. The bass drum is kind of in the background a bit... But the guitars are really loud so that may just be it...
 
were`s the Vox?
Is it suposed to be an instrumental, or are you going to add Vox?

The riff is very cool, little low bass though as mentioned before.
 
Its supposed to have vox. I just finished it the other day though, and I only write the music. My singer writes the vox.
 
I like your guitar tones for this type of thing. I'd like it better with vox though.

Nice tones, good recording! I'm probably the only one here so far that hears a bunch of bass. From experience though, my speakers seem odd as far as bass goes. The bass does die out some when you play the full chords. Anyway, the music is good! It does sound like a song that's missing vocals though, so it has some good potential for when you add em.
