I need another one. Are they made in China now? Any prices better than the $79 you see everywhere.
 
They are made in Mexico now, as far as I know...

i think musicians friend sells them for 79 and throws in a mic stand
 
Yeah I recall seeing that mic stand offer too someplace but it doesn't seem to be happening now. Mars sells a pretty good boom stand for $24, and I need another, so I may go with them. It seems $79 is the price everywhere you go, or maybe it's that Guitar Center owns everybody now.
