One band mate behind the glass with a Neumann U87, a 1970's Ibanez Artist, a Fender valve amp hidden away in the amp box, an AKG C414B-ULS and a bunch of original tunes.
The Studer 089 with all it's faders restored and it's Beyer 64 talkback mike on now in situ at Goose, our local indie studio. Remote phantom power pack on, channel 1 = Neumann U87 on vocals, channel 2 = AKG C414 on guitar. Not a compressor or effects processor in sight.
The Revox PR99 1/4" recorder hitched up to the Studer 089 running SM911 at +4db, 15ips.
Indie audio heaven. Seventy minutes of pristine all analog takes in the can across three three hour sessions. Can't wait to mix and master time.
