Ok, I'm finally back home, & I've missed like 3 pages today.....lol....

Greg I was just making sure the P-90 would fit into a mini-hum routed body, but may not even have to worry with that. I may just buy a full humbucker SG, then replace the p'ups a little later down the road...To be honest, I do like the binding & extra "pretty" shit on guitars, but, a stripped down version would be just fine with me, & would kinda match my Lester too...

I've found a 1960B cab with V30's locally, & the guy said he'd take "around" $500 for it. I may even be able to get it a little cheaper, as I'm gonna offer a little less to begin with, so I might get that cab for $400-$450, maybe...I explained my situation to him, & he's supposed to hold it for me. Now, whether he'll hold it or not we'll see...

I still can't get over Shawn not using the Ceriatone amp since he's had it. It's a tone machine IMO, maybe the volume differences are what's keeping him from using it?? I dunno, but for the hot-rodded Marshall sound, that amp's got it, & then some....

That's awesome, but you aint fitting P-90s in there without some wood cutting.

I've decided, just now, like 20 minutes ago, that I'm gonna paint my Gregburst SG white. I'm gonna do it myself. Yeah, for real. Like this....

I think that looks cool, and it aint fancy, so I might be able to do it myself.

Do you mean those Duncan P-Rail p'ups won't fit into a regular sized humbucker routed guitar???

Nice looking guitar there man...The last band I played in, the other guitar player was a car-body man, that's what he did for a living, re-painted cars at the local Chevy dealership. He painted his '76 strat a nice, deep blue, & it turned out superb. I dunno what all he did to it, but it looked & felt like it came from a guitar factory after he was finished with it....

There's no way in hell I'd try something like that, but you might pull it off dude, that would be cool....

OK, here's one I'm working on.

As usual, don't mind the drum machine, I always do my drums last or second to last, before the vocals.

I'm kind of obsessed with that choked wah sound, but tell me if I need to take a Valium with that. I can't help it, I like it. I might need an intervention.

Let me know how the bass sounds, as well as the guitars. I think I'm learning how to work with my Fender amp finally.

Yes, the P-Rails definitely will fit into a standard humbucker rout. That's a good option if you wanna do that.

Well I've been watching youtube tutorials all day (LOL) and I think I can pull it off, and if I don't, no big deal. The beauty of white is that it hides imperfections better than any other color. I've painted stuff before, like hood scoops and bumpers and shit, so I'm kind of familiar with spraying, sanding, and buffing. Hell I might even be able to do it with spray cans. :D

The rhythm section sounds like that Led Zep song that I don't know the name of. Bass sounds fine to me. The half-cocked wah sound is good, but a little overpowering in this demo mix.

Rhythm guitars & bass sound good Rami...Not sure on the cocked-wah myself, I think it's ok, can you change the frequency it's sitting at??? Just a thought, might help, dunno man....

Hell those drums sound like what I use on my finished songs dude....:D.

Ok dude, I was about to freak out over here, but I think I'm just gonna get a regular humbucker SG for now, & throw those Duncan P-Rails in it, with the Triple Shot rings, that way, I could get the whole shebang out of it....

Do you think about $500 is a good deal on a V30 B cab??? I've not saw it in person, but in the pics it looks brand new....

I wouldn't attempt it myself as that's something I have no experience with, other than about 20 years ago I spray canned my '79 F-150 while I was off work hurt after knee surgery....I was very bored & very stoned at the time, plus the truck while was in great running condition, was my work truck that I took mud-bogging on the weekends, so it wasn't like I was gonna hurt it...:laughings:.

Make sure you see it with the back off and check that all the drivers are working. But I don't need to tell you that. :D

Right on Bubba....He's actually got a full stack, a DSL2000 head, an A cab, & B cab.....He's asking $1400 for the whole shebang, but I don't need another DSL or an A cab...

OK, cool. By the time this is finished, I'll have it tamed and sitting pretty....I hope.

I can see how the climb in the rythm section is kind of like "Kashmir", but only for the first 2 bars, then it changes. I'm not worried about it. It's not that much like it, and the vocals that will go over it won't be anything like Kashmir.

Thanx Miner. I can play with the frequency it's sitting at. By the time this is finished, I'm sure it will sit right. Your drums sound way better than that shit I use as my click track. :)

Great, man. Thanx.

Sounding a little like kashmir is no big deal. I didn't mean it like it's a bad thing. That's just what it reminded me of. Your songs are getting more....uh...complex? Not in a bad way. You've just got more stuff going on these days. Your guitars and bass are busier but not so busy that it's distracting. It's a nice change up.

Thanx man. No, I know you didn't mean it negatively. I'm the first one to point out when something sounds too much like something else. I usually don't like that. This one doesn't bother me. Plus, like I said, vocals are the real decider.

I meant to say, that song has an Arabiab/middle-east kinda feel to it when I replied Rami....And sorta like "Kashmir" too, but different....

I'm sure whatever you end up with will be great man, you're good at this shit, very good...:).

Yeah, it's nothing like Kashmir. It's called Rashmir. That should make people forget about the Zeppelin tune. :D
