Well done to all those that got it right The usual things that MP3 trips up on such as cymbal detail and reverb tails gave it away to some.
I'll try and come up with another one tonight.
For me it was the detail in the "mechanics" of the sax. The way the pads sounded against the instrument, and life (a "glisten") at the very beginning of each note. The mp3 really lost that 'life' or 'space' or 'feel' or however you want to classify it.
Great experiment. I still want to go listen in the studio and see what else I can pick out.
