Classic Queepy stuff!
I love it the way it is and I think the voice is very original. Just needs to be a bit louder to me. Guitars sound great, drums sound dirty like they should. I love your songs!

Man, my drummer's been bothering me to cover this for ages. Never wanted to because I don't think we could do it justice. Now I've got a material example of somebody doing it justice that I can shove in his face as proof we shouldn't do it.:D
Great sound, <obligatory vocal nitpick>, though I must say I'm impressed with the level of snottiness you're pulling off. I try that shit, I just sound like I'm a six year old with a cold.
Looking forward to hearing it once you nail the harmonies.

Thanks man...I do try to make up with attitude what I'm missing in vocal skillz:p...tried a new lead vocal and backing vocal arrangment I will be posting in a bit...thanks for listening!

Hey joey thanks man...it's hard for me to have my voice louder but I think your right...about to post my new vocal version with a LOT diffrent backing vocal arrangment...way WAY WAY outta my comfort zone ...should be funny...
 
Tried a new take on this one today...wanted my Lead vocal to have a little more snottiness/attitude, and also tried to do the backing vocals a little more like the original with the harmonies....pretty much fail on that , but I thought I would get some fresh ears opinions...Thanks for all the feedback!

:p Cool man, it's getting closer...I still think I can do the lead vocal better....gonna try one more time....also need to spice up the drum track with some more crazy fills and, dare I say it, maybe some atomic cowbell?

Cool song. Production wise it's great. The drums are slamming. The only thing, as I'm sure as been said, the voice is a little pitchy, but not too bad. They could be compressed and brought up a bit to make them a bit more clear, but this is a cool song. Good job!

Totally lovin the drums here. And you brought them up to a good level. I can't imagine this song is too easy to do harmonies. I suck at harmonies myself and would never even bother. At least you're trying and getting close. :)

Don't know how I missed this when you reposted, but that pretty much sums it up. That bg voc after "the kids are alright" reminds me of something awesome, and now I'm gonna have to listen to it again until I figure it out.:D
 
We'll do our version greg as soon as my new studio is done in a month. It'll be the first project with my new drum mikes.... (hint: I'm back to stereo overheads again):D:eek:
