Put a NOS siemens halske in my NTK (which I was gonna sell) and it is a brand new mic. Took the bright down a notch and pushed the fullness quotient to the point of "Wow, nice mic!" Thanx kid!

kidvybes said:...the best deals can be found on the internet...keep an eye out for RCA 6DJ8 tubes (same as 6922/E88CC) that are either "made in Germany" or "made in Holland" (these tubes will have 4 ridges on the top of the tube radiating out from the peak, and many will also have gold-pins)...these are really either Siemens (Germany) or Amperex (Holland) tubes (re-labelled for RCA) and are just as good as the gold-pinned Siemens/Amperex 6922/E88CC versions...they go for $30 or less quite frequently on Ebay...these will help smooth out the sound of your NTK or K2 microphone...
