The Importance of Being Acoustic

This really shows the importance of good acoustics. This was recorded with two radio shack mics and a TASCAM, sitting in the control booth at my school's gym. These people are my old band (performing without me...) and the lead guitarist is in 10th grade. They played 2 songs, the first beign their own creation, and the second being a really nice Summer song cover.

Most surprising? They lost. To some shitty emo band.

really fine playing...get these people some good mics, and no matter how good they sound now, it would make the hugest difference in the recording process.....sure would like to hear those drums come up and a bit more bottom overall, but hey, live recording is a one shot deal, right?...seriously, recording with better mics would be cool....gibs
