I just bought one of the Guitars for $100.00 USD. I know that it was going to have a "bright" sound because of the small sound hole and the small sound chamber. I have been able to get some "happy" sounds out of it. I also find with lower tunings it sounds a bit better. Also using a capo you can get some neat sounds. I was wondering if I could buy a sound hole pick up. I would like to get a happy inexpensive one.
thanks,

Thanks Treeline but.....

I really don't want to "make a hole" in my guitar, maybe I'll Mic it. I liked the idea of a sound hole pick-up but I don't think I will get one, at least inexpensive. I thank you again for your happy input.

Those guitars sound awful....sorry. $100 is too much for one.

Hmmm...

A lot of people told me not to buy it because it had only "bright" tones and no low end. I tried it and bought it because of it's banjo-like sound. I'm going to layer it with some of my other guitars in a few upcoming songs that I'm writing. I'll leave you with saying that my late Uncle told me long ago. "It's not how good the guitar make is, it's the person playing the guitar that makes the sound"

Shinobi, Why are the Japanese so big on "Happy, Happy" stuff? What kind of drugs are you guys hiding from us yanks?

Yaa...Right........

First thing, I'm not Japanese.
Second thing is I like the word "happy", not "happy, happy"
Third, Do you wear a pointy white cap on your head?
Be happy ya'all.

See...that wasnt alltogether "Happy"

Hmmmm...the more I say that word, the weirder it sounds...time for another happy stick. :D
