Has anyone heard this album yet? I really love the drum sound on this one, everything is sort of open but still punchy. I wish I could figure out how they got that snare sound, does anyone have any thoughts? I'm not sure exactly how to decribe it.

They rented out a church for a month, brought in all their gear and recorded the album there. I don't know any specifics, but I'm sure that fact had something to do with it.

Have all their albums. Great band with great tunes. The drum sounds on Castaways and Cutouts are my faves. Perfect fit for the music.
