We finally wrapped up our 1st CD! Recorded entirely on a Fostex MR-8. This was strictly a labor of love for us...no visions of grandure

Hey, this stuff is great! I just had time to hear one song, but it was really good. Happy, energic playing, enthusiastic mixing (I love those cars and motorcycles all over the place!) and overall a great production. This proves my point beyond many curled phrases I could write instead; It's not what tools you use, it's how you deal with those tools that matters. Keep churning out them great songs...

I haven't listented to it yet, though I definitely plan on it...I've been demoing some stuff on my MR-8 and can't decide whether to do the "real" recording on it as well (mostly acoustic guitar, pennywhistle and fiddle)...

Did you mix/master on the MR-8 or did you do that on a PC?
