Is this the same version I heard several days ago? I still need more wacka wacka. :D

Your kick/bass relationship is always super tight and bad ass. Those tom rolls at the end rule.

How much bottom snare you got in this mix? I don't have much to add besides what I've already told you. This is one of your better efforts out of many that you've posted in here over the many years you've helped people in here.

Thanx man. It's the same version. I usually go back and make changes, or at least try them, as soon as I read suggestions. I haven't got around to it on this one yet. I have to figure out how to get those Wacka wacka's up. I don't automate, so I might just add a wacka wacka track. Bottom snare track is 10db's lower than the top. I have the bottom high passed at about 2.5k, so it's really just the sound of the wires, no body.

You did a nice job with the bottom snare on this one. I can tell it's there and it's not interfering, it's only adding to the goodness.

OK good, thanx. It's a fine line. A little too loud and you get this wire sound that sounds out of place. Too low, and it might as well not be there. I'm glad I hopefully found a good balance.

Right. I almost always record a bottom track, but only sometimes use it. There is one sweet spot where the two work together nicely. Get away from that sweet spot and it's a mess.

Hehe...Someone reported the thread. 2 mods have been in here in the last 5 minutes. :D

Relax mods, we're still talking music, with a little off-topic stuff sprinkled around, just like what happens in every thread. It's really no big deal. :)

EDIT: Make that 3. :D

Man, I wish I had that many mods rushing to my thread when I got attacked and reported it. I feel like a black man jay walking in Texas. :D

Texas is actually pretty lenient on black men jaywalking.
Oh, well the last "police brutality" video I saw was a black man jay walking in Texas, so it's all I had. :D

I think 90% of those videos are fake and staged anyway.

Wow, really? I must have missed that. You know, white privilege and everything. I jaywalk all the time. :D

A lot of these videos start with someone who just happens to be filming a black guy crossing the street, and then 6 cops come out from behind the camera and attack the fuck out of him. You can see that it almost looks like someone yelled "Action" right before the vid started.

Drooling at the thought of getting on ESPN at work.

It's constantly open at my computer. :) that and either Foxnews or CNN...i don't discriminate there.

mix review coming up, sorry!

Great tight playing on those leads in conjunction with everything else. You are a great drummer RAMI, and this track really lets that shine. Nice playing man. I do like your vocal tone, a lot. Everything is very tight - do you do any manual time edits on those lead sections with snare rolls behind them? it's all aligned nicely.

i can't remember the last song I heard that started with a fade-in.... ;)

Don't think I didn't notice how you sneak that lead guitar part into the verse at the end of the measure. Great reinforcement of the guitar theme. It drives that part in until you hang on it during the solo sections. nice.

mix-wise, i got nothing much. in particular, I thought the toms sounded fantastic.
